About Carolyn

I'm Carolyn Arbuckle, a Registered Dietitian with clinical experience across the full care continuum: acute care hospitals, a GI surgical unit, skilled nursing, military outpatient care, and telehealth. That range means I understand what your patients are walking into when they leave your office: the overwhelm of a new diagnosis, the gap between clinical recommendations and real life, and how easily people fall through the cracks between settings.

Your patients need more than general eating advice. They need someone who can translate clinical guidance into a sustainable, real-life nutrition plan and who will stay a consistent part of their care. That's the role I'm built for.

I also believe in open communication with referring providers. If you'd like updates on a shared patient's progress, I'm glad to coordinate. The best outcomes happen when care teams work together.

The patients I can help most

Ideal Client

My ideal referral is an adult patient who's motivated to make changes but needs structured, personalized nutrition support to get there. They may be managing a complex or chronic condition, working on their relationship with food, or simply not seeing results from general dietary advice alone. I work with teens and adults across a wide range of needs.

Patients tend to get the most out of working with me when they're:

  • Managing a GI condition or recovering from GI surgery that requires dietary modification

  • Living with a chronic disease that has a significant nutrition component

  • Navigating perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, or PMDD

  • Working through emotional eating, weight concerns, or a difficult relationship with food

  • Managing diabetes or prediabetes and wanting sustainable, non-restrictive support

  • Motivated but overwhelmed: they want help, they just need the right partner
